Software Development Outsourcing for Companies in the Netherlands
Limbani Softwares helps Dutch startups and scale-ups outsource software, SaaS and AI development to an in-house team in Vadodara, India. We work in English, overlap four and a half to five and a half hours with Amsterdam every day, sign GDPR processing agreements with EU Standard Contractual Clauses, and price each project on scope from $1000.
Working hours
How much of your working day do we share?
We work 09:00 to 18:00 India time, so our whole team is online during your morning and over lunch. That is when we hold stand-ups, sprint demos and planning. Questions you leave in the afternoon are usually answered before you start the next day.
| Location | Time zone | Shared hours |
|---|---|---|
| Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Eindhoven (CEST, summer) | UTC+2 | 09:00 to 14:30 Dutch time |

Why do Dutch companies outsource development to India?
The Dutch market for experienced developers is tight, and hiring a senior engineer in Amsterdam can take months. Many of the Dutch teams we speak with already work in English and in agile sprints, which makes adding an offshore team straightforward. The aim is usually to ship a roadmap faster without growing payroll, or to build a new product next to the existing team.
Directness matters in Dutch business culture, and we work the same way. If a feature will take longer than expected or an idea will not pay off, we say so early and suggest an alternative.
What we build for companies in the Netherlands
Typical work for Dutch clients:
- SaaS platforms for B2B customers, including multi-tenant architecture and subscription billing
- Marketplaces and e-commerce with payment integrations such as Mollie, Adyen or Stripe
- Mobile apps for iOS and Android
- AI assistants, document extraction and workflow automation inside existing products
- Rebuilds of older PHP or .NET systems into maintainable modern stacks
- Extra developers who join your sprints, tools and code reviews
How do you handle GDPR and the Dutch Data Protection Authority's expectations?
Under GDPR you remain the controller and we are your processor. Because India has no EU adequacy decision, any transfer of personal data relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with a transfer impact assessment, as the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens expects. We sign an Article 28 data processing agreement that lists exactly what we may do with the data.
In practice we design the engagement so very little personal data reaches India. Developers use anonymised or synthetic data, production runs in your EU cloud region such as AWS Frankfurt or Azure West Europe in Amsterdam, and every account is personal, logged and removed when it is no longer needed.
- Article 28 data processing agreement and NDA before work starts
- EU Standard Contractual Clauses for any personal data transfer
- Production data kept in your EU region, including Azure West Europe (Netherlands)
- Personal, logged accounts with least-privilege access
How the project runs
We begin with a discovery call and a written scope covering features, assumptions, risks, timeline and cost. Work then runs in two-week sprints with a demo at the end of each. You have access to the repository, the task board and a staging environment from day one, and one technical lead who is your direct contact for every decision.
What does outsourced software development cost for a Dutch company?
Projects start from $1000 and the final price depends on scope. A focused first release with one platform and a few integrations costs far less than a multi-platform product with AI features and strict compliance requirements.
The useful comparison is cost per shipped feature, not hourly rate. We help you get there by writing a tight first scope, reusing proven components and telling you which features can wait until real users ask for them.
Work we can show you
Neo Mobility driver management platform
Compliance-heavy B2B platform with document tracking, payroll and dashboards for a fleet operator in two countries.
Korea Wallpaper retail ERP
Multi-outlet retail ERP for inventory, orders and installations across Malaysia and Singapore, migrated from a legacy system.
When we are not the right fit
We would rather say this now than waste your time. Look for a different partner if:
- You need a team that speaks Dutch with your end customers every day.
- Every developer has to work from your office in the Netherlands.
- Your contract forbids any processing or access from outside the EU.
