How We Built GoDinDin, a Video-First Buy and Sell Marketplace App in Flutter
GoDinDin is a video-first marketplace where shoppers watch short product videos, discover homegrown brands and buy in real time. Limbani Softwares built the GoDinDin mobile app in Flutter with a MERN stack backend and admin panel, including OTP login, guest browsing, a live video feed, one account for buying and selling, quick delivery tracking and in-app checkout.

The Challenge: Why Did GoDinDin Need a Video-First App?
Buying and reselling online was fragmented. Sellers, especially small brands and secondhand sellers, had no convincing way to show their products, and buyers could not quickly judge product quality or which sellers to trust from static images. GoDinDin wanted a marketplace where discovery feels as natural as scrolling short videos, and where anyone can buy and sell from one simple account.
How Does the GoDinDin App Work?
Users sign in with a phone number OTP or Google, or browse as a guest. The home feed mixes categories, featured homegrown brands, deals that end at midnight and a watch and buy section of short product videos. Shoppers add items to the bag, check out in the app and track delivery, with quick delivery available in selected pincodes. The same account can switch to selling and upload new video listings in minutes.
What Technology Powers GoDinDin?
The mobile app is built with Flutter, so one codebase delivers a smooth, native feeling experience on Android and iOS. The backend and admin panel use the MERN stack: MongoDB for flexible product and video data, Express and Node.js for APIs, and React for the admin dashboard. Admins moderate flagged content, manage users and review sales analytics, keeping the marketplace trustworthy as it grows.
