How We Built FarmTech, a Durian Farm ERP with IoT Soil Monitoring
FarmTech is a Malaysian agritech brand that brings durian farming into the Industry 4.0 era. Limbani Softwares worked on its cloud-based farm ERP, which combines IoT soil condition tracking with tree records, task management, harvest tracking and reporting, plus a mobile app for field teams and a corporate website with a brand identity built around farming and technology.

The Solution
We gave durian farms one connected system: sensors report soil conditions, the ERP turns them into tasks, and field teams see what to do next on their phones.
IoT Soil Monitoring
Sensors track soil moisture, temperature and pH by block, and alerts tell farmers when a block needs water or treatment.
Tree and Block Records
Every tree is recorded with variety, age, health and inspection history, so farmers can manage thousands of trees with confidence.
Field Task Management
Pruning, fertilising and spraying tasks are planned, assigned to workers and tracked from the mobile app.
Harvest and Yield Tracking
Weekly harvests, grading and yield forecasts help farms plan labour, sales and cash flow for each season.
Inventory and Suppliers
Fertiliser, chemicals and equipment are tracked with suppliers, so materials are reordered before they run out.
Brand and Corporate Website
A full brand identity and website present FarmTech to farmers and agricultural businesses and capture demo requests.

Launch & Support

The Challenge: Why Do Durian Farms Need an ERP?
Durian farming has grown into a high-value export business, but many small and medium farms still run on notebooks, spreadsheets and experience alone. Soil conditions change block by block, thousands of trees need individual care, and harvest timing directly affects price. FarmTech wanted to help these farms work smarter by giving them a modern, affordable system that combines field data with day-to-day farm management.

How Does the FarmTech Platform Work?
IoT sensors in each block send soil readings to the cloud ERP. When readings move outside the optimal range, the system raises alerts and suggests tasks. Managers plan and assign work from the web dashboard, and field teams receive tasks, log progress and record harvests in the mobile app. Tree records, grading, inventory and supplier data all live in one place, and reports show yield, costs and revenue for every block and season.

What Results Does FarmTech Deliver for Farmers?
FarmTech replaces guesswork with data. Farmers see the health of every block in real time, act on problems before they affect the crop, and plan harvests with better forecasts. As a SaaS product with a strong brand, FarmTech can onboard new farms quickly, and it was showcased at the Malaysia International Agriculture Technology Exhibition as an example of modern durian farming.
