How We Built ChargeSini, an EV Charging App and Charge Point Operator Platform
ChargeSini is a Malaysian EV charging network built around a simple promise: locate, charge and pay. Limbani Softwares worked on the full software ecosystem, including the driver app for Android and iOS, a merchant and operator web platform, OCPP-compliant charger integration, dynamic load management, tariffs and payments, smart parking locks, and new home charger monitoring and co-sharing features.

The Solution
We built the complete EV charging software stack, so drivers can find, reserve, charge and pay in a few taps while operators manage every charger, site and tariff from one platform.
Find and Reserve Chargers
Drivers see nearby AC and DC chargers on a map with live availability, then reserve a bay before they arrive.
Real-Time Charging Sessions
The app shows charge level, energy delivered, power and cost as the session runs, and notifies drivers when charging is complete.
OCPP Charger Integration
Chargers from different manufacturers connect through OCPP, so the operator can monitor, start and stop them remotely.
Dynamic Load Management
Available power is shared evenly across active chargers at each site, respecting the grid limits of condos, offices and malls.
Smart Parking Locks
Integrated parking locks hold a reserved bay for the driver and release it when the session ends.
Home Charging and Co-Sharing
Owners link their home charger to the app to monitor usage and earn by sharing it with other drivers.

Launch & Updates

The Challenge: Why Is EV Charging Software So Complex?
As more EVs hit Malaysian roads, ChargeSini wanted to build a public charging network that felt effortless for drivers. Behind that simplicity sits real complexity: chargers from different manufacturers, AC and DC hardware, varying grid capacity at each site, third-party parking locks, tariffs and payments. The team needed a technology partner who could handle both the software and its connection to physical hardware.

How Does the ChargeSini App Work for Drivers?
Drivers open the app, see nearby chargers with real-time availability and reserve a bay, which raises a smart parking lock to hold it. When they plug in, the session starts automatically and the app shows charge level, energy and cost live. Payment is calculated automatically at the end, and history and receipts stay in the app. Home charger owners can also monitor usage and share their charger with others.

How Did We Build the Charge Point Operator Platform?
We studied leading local and international charging apps, then designed the driver app and operator platform together. The operator platform connects chargers through OCPP, manages sites, tariffs, payments and users, and integrates with ERP and CRM systems. We worked with charger installation specialists to tune hardware, solve AC and DC compatibility, integrate parking locks and implement dynamic load management, then tested thoroughly in real-world conditions before launch.
